This is the ad he had posted says ready to bolt in but I received it and both shocks are crap and I have texted him and messaged him on here and he wont reply His name on here is {thamax} I wouldn't have put it on here if he would have replied.

fabcraft suspension

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

off a apex but will mount under a cat or nytro also. new in 2010 162" walker evans shocks,8 inch composite wheels, front yamaha wheels, Polaris hyfax, set up uncoupled but can changed for rider setup and right at 700 miles. asking $800 complete ready to bolt in. rails are raw billet aluminium. the wheels are gray and hyfax red buyer pays shipping

Unfortunately, this sometimes happens when dealing with private sales over the internet. I've been screwed on a set of shocks and some parts for my truck. The same communication barrier happened. The selling party stopped responding to PM's and texts.

Lesson learned: Don't buy used equipment that requires periodic maintenance. I bought new shocks after that.

It was new in 2010? thats pretty old in sled years It doesnt say the shocks are new or rebuilt in that add you posted. So i guess i would say do theres no reason to be irritated.

I like all the trash talk! the suspension is used and i did not check the shocks! its been sitting for 2 seasons and must have lost the gas charge. it can be rebuilt for $45 a shock i sent the buyer info on rebuilder that's in his state.I actually ride so that is why i have unable to answer pm's or texts this weekend!

I didn't see any trash talk but thanks for the negative rep any way :face-icon-small-win

At least he sent you the part that was advertised. I got screwed for $400 for a rear suspension just like the one in my sled, at least it is in brand new shape tho. It was advertised as the newer generation (just by the year) and I got suckered. Well at least I have some back up parts! **** happens, go ride and don't be too mad!

Should have pretty much expected to do something with shocks if they weren't rebuilt. I wouldn't be too irritated, $800 is a pretty good price.
