Should engine aligment be warrantied

I think engine alignment should be covered under warranty, anyone have experience with this. What do you think

I have found that if the sled is still under warranty they will work on the clutch alignment. Well the dealer here would.

IMO if it is out of spec they would have to fix it. But that is my opinion.

I agree one hundred percent, If my truck engine was in crooked and causing problems, they dang well better stand behind it, sleds shouldn't be any different. jmo

yes they should most defiantley fix it. man pretty soon you'll just get a box of parts and they'll tell you some assembly required;)

I took My sled in to warranty the clutch side engine mount plate and have the shocks revalved. They call and say the sled is done and its $405.00. Plate is being warrantied, the shocks where 188+18 shipping as expected. then I get charged for 1.75hrs for engine alignment. they said engine was back 1/16 now it is leading a 1/16. and there is another $18 for shop supplies. I could have done all this on my own and it would have been cheaper to just buy engine plate than go to the dealer and wind up with charges I wasn't expecting. Let alone if my motor was out of alignment it either came that way or it happened when the mounts ripped. This dealer also did my clutching last year and never said anything about alignment(maybe they have caught on to AC quality control) I would have done it or had it done either way just getting sick off twice the bill everytime I go to the dealer. I do it every year and all it takes is once then I do it myself, maybe next year. But at least they do good work, and I think he does care just needs to let me know.

First, I am sure the dealer is just trying to make sure the sled is just right. Second, it should be covered under warranty if it came from the factory like that. Cat should help them out. They should have also checked it when they did clutching last year. Work with them and they will work with you.

I kinda doubt it. the last gallon of oil I got from him last spring cost me $58.00. I think he is trying to make money where he can. and so be it but I should have been told before hand.
