short seat

Anyone else shorten the stock seat? Having mine recovered now and cut 8" off the back so my foot clears the seat back more easily ... curious if anyone else finds a short seat better.

Took about 6 off mine and lowered it 1.5".

going to be much shorter than this ...'13 seat to start
shows the base with the seat post bracket mount moved as far forward as possible. Post will be almost tight to the tank. Will post more pics once its installed. Did our '12 as well - almost flush with end of the tank - but the '13 is going to be even shorter.

I like the length of the 2013 and up seats. Any shorter and my 6'3" frame falls off. But, with that said, this is my seat. WRP Lowrider. Love it.

Seat back on! Just waiting for snow to try it out .... scrap piece of aluminium, 1/2 hour trimming plastic & foam / $60 to have it covered ... in the garage it feels much easier to move side to side as my boot doesn't hit the back of the seat!
