Wondering if anyone has sent their shocks in the get shortened? I am looking at getting a nearly new set of shocks that are for an assault but would like to figure out price to get them shortened for axys width. Any info helps thanks.

Gas Shock Repair can do what you are asking, and he does a hell of a job.

Otherwise, its a pain, and expensive.

He's on vacation until the 9th fwiw.

unles you are getting a sweet deal on them, I would just find a set that fit. or revalve yours. mine are 1000x better since they were revalved by carls. I also liked the fox float 3 evols I had on my pro

Found a set of Keith Curtis coil overs all four for less then half price. Like new condition. I have a set of evols on my pro that will fit as well. My sled is an assault but I already bought zbros stock axys width arms for it. Just curious on what it would cost.

Do the evols on the front and the coilovers on the rear.

The body of the Assault Shocks are to long to be shortened to a 39" stance. We have been down this road.

Tomorrow she will be getting the zbros front end with the fox evol r off the wife's sled after a shaft failure today. Got lucky it was just shock and lower a arm nothing else. Didn't hit stump, rock, or ice, just gave throttle pop to clear little ditch to drop back onto the trail and when that ski hit first a little before other side nothing major at all hardly any speed, the shaft snapped. Didn't bend or anything. Crazy!
