hey guys just wondering what u think is the best aftermarket shock to put on the m series, thankks for the info

All comes down to how much money you are willing to spend. Exit shocks from zbros are hard to beat. But some good valving in the fox floats and or the Brundt kit in the rear is pretty nice.

useless question without more info.

What kind of riding do you do??

Are you looking to lose weight? Gain durability? Gain plushness? Better bottom resistance? lower the front end for better hillclimbing?

WAY too many options to just say "these are the best shocks"

My experience with zero pros is not good. A couple years ago I bought an EZ-Ryde rear suspension that came with zero pros. The first ride on it, I couldn't believe the difference!! It was plush but also took the big bumps very well. The very next ride, without changing anything, the ride SUCKED!! It felt completely different than what I had experienced on the first ride. Then I remembered that my stock suspension (that also had zero pro shocks) had gotten worse, and that a few years ago I had them all rebuilt because of that, and the same thing, one ride later and they felt like crap again. ONE RIDE!! I now have zbroz and after getting them dialed in for my riding, I love them!! They are consistant and work very well, and most importantly after many rides, they still feel good.

Alright thanks guys, I want my rear to ride better in my m8 in mybopniom cat rides like chit!! I did the geomod it's a little better but was just wodering what shock would soak up the bumps?

Has anyone ran revalved stock shocks and then switched to Z-Broz? I am wondering how they compare and if the Z-Broz are worth the extra coin.

The 2010 m8 rear skid is brutal on the trail campared to my 2007 m8. If you find somthing that works good let me know.

i went with the fox float2's up front, and the burandt revalve out back. i also added the holz dual stage spring set up on the rear suspension front arm shock. this set up works very well for me on, and off trail, inc jumping and a few drops. i have not ridden on this outwest in the steep and deep yet but, in northern ontario where we ride it works very well for me.

the amount of trail studder it absorbs is amazing. last trip up, at one point i was running 40-60 mph down the trail riding standing up one handed and was very comfortable and felt the ride was very predictible. i have not had a sled ride like this in a loooong time.

very happy with the purchase. float2's about 695, burandt revalve about 300.00 spring set up from holz 75.00.

sell your stock front floats for 250-400 and the complete 4 shock upgrade is very affordable to most.
