Shock Spring length Question.

I have been looking for the factory spring length set-up in the manual for the 011 Pro 800 it states the recommended length on the rear track shock for a 160 to 220 rider, but does not state spring length for the front track shock or the two front shocks. Does any one know what the factory spring length should be for the front track shock and the two front shocks?

It's been a while but it's in there. Keep looking. IIRC it's 8 1/2 for the FTS and 10 3/8 for the front (ski) shocks. Presuming you have not had the shocks revalved, when it's all said & done you'll most likely end up tighter (shorter) ont he FTS.

The ski shocks I would set the spring as long as possible. Jack the front of the sled up, loosen the adjusting nut til the retaining collar is loose, tighten the adjusting nut til it snugs the retaining collar up and then put two full turns on adjusting nut. Or at least that's what I did (170 lbs all geared up).

EDIT: I guess I should state it's in the full service manual. It might not be in the owners manual you get with the sled. $70 for the service manual. If it saves you one trip to the dealer it just paid for itself. One guys opinion anayway.
