Shock ideas for XLT?

So I had my heart set on getting some floats for my XLT but after reading a lot on them it seems like people don't really care for them much. I liked them for the weight savings but not if there going to be a pain to adjust or ride good.

What do you guys suggest for a good all around front shock?
