What are your feelings on seal saver shock boots. Are they good idea or not?

I have not had an issue not using them... I have used them on dirt and they work but lately I have been using the sks mudscrapers and they work just as well without making the shocks feel different... I have got my seals to last just as long ... Around 100 long hours
