There is quite a bit of sag on my rear suspension before it takes up the tension on the torsion springs.... Can this sag be minimizes by increasing the dampening on the rear shock?? Never played with this before and am considering playing with it.
No. Damping only slows the movement down. It will not support weight. The springs hold it up and the shocks keep the springs from bouncing the sled uncontrollably. Without compression damping the sled would bottom out very easy and then without rebound damping the sled would snap back from the fully compressed spring and bounce the sled up in the air. The Pro suspension seems to sag a lot then get very stiff in the middle. I see you posted a question about KMOD. Kevin at KMOD can answer all your questions and come up with a much better set up. FWIW I tried revavling my shocks last year(different company) and while it was better I really needed triple rate springs too. At that point I am 65% of the cost of new Raptors which are WAY better than even revalved shocks and better springs. I am going with new shocks this year.
