shipping to canada

I've gotten parts in as little as 7 days via USPS. However, the last item I bought was a set of Sly Dog skis and they took over 2 weeks because Canada Customs decided to hold them. According to the tracking number I had, they were in Canada in two days, then they sat at a Customs "depot" for the next 8-9 days.

When shipping USPS make sure the invoice is on the outside so customs know how much to charge . If you ship it during the Xmas period be prepared to wait otherwise around 5 days.

I use fed-ex whenever possible my package always arrives faster than usps or ups, usually i have no border holdups like the others. If you have a fed-ex truck or depot around your area use them.

are there any extra fees lwith fed ex ??

From my experience, anytime you receive an item from any shipping company, DHL, UPS or Fed Ex you will have to pay a brokerage fee. This fee is huge and usually turns a good deal into a terrible deal. As mentioned above, it can vary depending on how long the package sits in Customs. The fastest I've ever received an order from the US via USPS is about 10 days. The longest has been about 6 weeks. If you have an item shipped to you via USPS make sure you pay the extra for insurance.

USPS global express ive always got my packages in 5 working days and as little as over night ! most being from salt lake to edmonton or kelowna . if youre shipping to non airport cities im sure it takes longer

Most of the stuff I get from the states is 1 week via USPS, out of probably 100 items ONE has been delayed at the border for about a week, i'd say 6-8 business days is normal to recieve it. UPS or fedex ground is no faster and the fees are stupid. Canadians should do each other a favour and boycott ups, fedex, dhl, etc with their stupid fees! Even if it's a delivery within Canada, it might send them a message if enough people refuse to get anything shipped by them.

I have had good results from fedex ,usps is good but can take up to 2 weeks for regular service, and ups has some dirty thieving weasels for import agents who charge whatever they feel like at the moment.I have boycotted ups myself, and I do believe I hate them

USPS/Canada Post only charges $5 for brokerage and often I find if it's sent freight prepaid there are no charges on this end. Shipping time seems to be reasonable between 1-2weeks is what I have seen.
