Shipping on greyhound!

Does anyone know a general cost to ship a hood via greyhound?? I'm not even sure what is reasonable... i will call them but without dimensions and weight, i'm sure they won't tell me much. Anyone ever done it? what did you pay??

lol. The gray hound depot for our town just happens to be at the same place I work. What do you want to know? I can see if I can find out for ya. We are not a real grayhound depot, we are just the middle man for grayhound, DHL, purolaror, UPS, and all those for our town. The closest real depots are about an hour from us. Let me know and I'll see what I can find for you. But I'll tell you right now, a hood will cost you an arm, maybe a leg too.

shipping hoods

I sent one a year or so ago and the cost was about $65 from Idaho to New York. They aren't fast but far and away the least cost.

shipping...

i know from the company they charge $145... but someone said on greyhound it is considerably cheaper. all i want to know is a ball park price. I have one for sale on ebay...a kid wants it...but i'm 2 hours from a bus station that i can ship from. i'm heading there tomorrow for business...if i could get a decent quote i'd drop it off tomorrow on my way through.

I shipped 2 yesterday, one was 32.00 and one was 39 something, depends on weight. Have shipped MANY hoods that way, and they are the cheapest and probably the fastest to. Think about it, those buses never stop rolling.

thanks...

good to know. so what is that lexan clear hood worth if i charge him $45 for shipping (since i'm driving 2 hours to ship it...). its brand new...never been put on a sled.

I bought an M hood here last month I believe that the shipping was $45. It took two days to get to Denver from Washington state. It was in perfect shape when it got here, not a mark on the box. It was a very easy transaction, but the depot is only 30 min from me.

If you are driving that far, I would make sure you cover at least you fuel, if not your time. It still is cheaper than any other method that we have found, and we have tried DHL, many truck companies, etc. On the up side we do have Speedee that covers the tri state area, and they are only 65.00. UPS won't even take them here.

Wow that is unreal cheap..... We have to charge like $30 for a 12" square box, like maybe 10lbs. That's on grayhound. Can't belielve the prices you guys are getting. wow.
