Thinking about purchasing a sled out of state and wondering if anyone knows the best way to have it shipped? Or if its even possible etc? Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks guys!

I used haul bikes .com once kinda pricy but i believe it got there.
There is a guy on here posting about being able to haul but it needs to be crated
I imagine no matter who you find its going to be around the 350-500$ range
Unless you can find some people on here that want to help out

I have not shipped a sled, but I have shipped a Harley from Houston, TX to MN.
The shipper had it on a wooden pallet with the bike strapped to eyebolts in the pallet and a dust cover over it. It cost around $600.

I ship single pallets all the time. The freight cost is determined by class, weight, and physical size. An RMK on a skid is going to take up as much floor space in the truck as 3 pallets would. I would call a freight company like Yellow and ask them. Also ask a dealer if they have shipped and see what they say.

You can usually get a good deal from someone on here that is traveling the same direction or you can try Uship.com
