Ok so im in the middle of putting the D&D shift assist bearing on the secondary. Everything is going geat but not when i slide the actual bearing on i have about half inch of play all around. Is it suppose to be like that?

There should be a plastic bushing that will slide inside the bearing to center it.

When I installed my shift assist I could not get that white spacer to go inside the shift assist, it ended up sitting on top of the bearing metal cover. I could have trimmed the white piece but it looks like to me that the white piece floats up and down on the shaft as the clutch opens and closes anyway so nothing would be gained by using the white piece to center the bearing anymore than what one could do by eyeballing it. Once you compress the clutch spring it should put enough pressure on the shift assist that it shouldn't move except to allow the spring to turn as the clutch shifts in and out.

The white spacer is tapered. Pull it off and turn it around. It will then slide into the shift assist and keep it centered.
