Ok this has been a rough trip. Started out with lack of snow. And the 975 wouldn't run right. Got the tps adjusted and fixed an airleak in the intake boots. Cleaned the terminals on the box above the pull rope( not shire what that is) well helped but wouldn't run over6000 rpm. Thought I would take it out today and rode for an hour mostly trail some off trail. Whenwe got back on the trail went about 5 minutes and the digital readout flickered and she was done no spark. Couldn't find any loose wires unplugged kill switch ect. Any body have any ideas with these symptoms.
She died on the trail today?

Sounds like the stator failed.
Any way to check the stator?

here are the res. #'s for th good old 9 if everything specs out your good, i have only herd of a few places that will rewind a stator around my area but its was cheeper to find one on ebay.
When that same exact type of thing happened to me last year it was my ECU going kaput

Sounds like a stator. You could try disconnecting your hot grips..
well I've been buysee and finally got the stator off today and checked it it checks ok? flow chart says check coils next so i'll do that tomorrow but its soundin like the ECU
