Setting up 06 600HO for 10,000ft?

I have an 06 600 Fusion/Switchback 136"x1.5" that is currently a flatlander.

Taking it to 10mile Wyoming 1st week of April and need to get it set up.

I want it set up for 10,000ft and 10 to 30 degrees F.

I'm looking for jetting, clutching and gearing.

Local independant, do it all shop here in town told me the following.

Drive:
54g weights, white spring in primary.
Green Secondary spring, stock helix.
19t x 39t gearing
Jetting:
250 or 260 mains
35 pilots

Any info is appreciated.

Thanks, Burny.

I would set it up like a 06 RMK. I would use the black/green primary spring, with 10-54 weights. Use the red/black secondary spring. If you are mostly off trail, I'd go with 19/42 gears (stock RMK is 20/41). Your own weight figures in some on the gearing. I would use 260 mains, with the needles set in position #1 if you are truly at 10000ft. and never colder than 10 above. I would not change the pilots. If morning temps were cold, 0 or less, I'd stay with 270 or 280 mains.

That jetting sounds good. If you dont want to spend that much, you could leave gearing, leave clutch springs, install 10AL weights, and bring the 1054s, but I dont think it will pull them. Shoot for 8200, gearing may help but you may not notice, its only a week or so right? Then ride!!!
