Set up help

Hey

I just got 2005 600 ho and I am looking for some tips and set up help!

I am looking for tips for trail use. I have the 07 ski up date.... what else should I do to get the best out it?

I have read through many of the fourms and it has been great for info!!!
I have only had the hawk out for two days and I have to say that I can't believe how awsome it is off trial in the deep stuff.... Any tips to getting used to it on the hard pack?

Clutching will do you big . Ski setback and much seat time . I dont ride much trails but after 4 years I finally hold it WOT . Steve at B's outback sold me my clutches ready to bolt on . Congrats on the purchase .

hey man! im the guy in London that was also looking at the hawk you bought! call me and all help you with all i can! my name is jeremy

I hope both of you guys can hook up & ride together and convert training wheel riders (sledders) to move up to the next step !

I wish you guys lot'sa snow !

I think I may have already converted my Cousin...... He thought the same as I did "that it would be a toy to use on short sunday family runs" until we rode it!!!

So we are on the look out for another Hawk.... I know there is one around Ottawa for sale (04 600HO) but I had made the guy an offer before I got my 05 and he was firm on his price... who knows maybe we will find a 503 or something!!!!

What is the main advantage to lowering the seat 2inches...I believe my 05 has a setting that is 2 inches lower.... from what I read it get the impression that is softens the suspension? I am 6 foot 6 so I don't need it lower to be comfortable

Himagain,

If you're 6'6", you may need to lower and backens your footpeg, get a higher seat and get your bars 3" forward & higher a bit as well. Your riding position will be way better, more natural.

Rudeawakening probably talked to you about it since he's about your size !
