A ban is not legal. It is a constitutional amendment, it would take changing the constitution, that won't happen.

"assault rifle ban" is more likely.

You are correct ... they can't outright ban it but they can legislate it away.

Since the killings in Casper WY I havent seen a ban on
bows/arrows or knives. WTF they are prejudice!

I agree it will not pass in its current form. But what this bill has is teeth and it has a lot of room for talk. They will settle for AR and AK style guns gone. and they will settle for magazine size down to less than 10. All the other stuff they will cut out of the bill so it will pass.
