Seen this before?

Sadly I did that 2nd trip out this year. I was fast enough to get it in forward and fixed before someone saw.

I have a deck that has an extension on the back end. There is a gap of about 3" where it joins the main deck. The back of the ski reaches this gap just as the track starts down the ramp. Basically the pivot point. If I'm just off balance or if I'm slightly off camber, the back of the ski will dip into this gap. It is critical to NOT have any throttle going if this happens. My ramp is too steep, less of an angle and this doesn't happen.

Thanks for the info....

I doooo (not skidoo) really appreciate the info on the extension sled deck.. I will keep my oldie, but a goodie! It has seen it days, but seems to perform flawlessly (minus human error). I will admit the overachiever syndrome when loading once, or twice. My truck will admit me loading my sled more than once having a sled on its cab. I told her to shut up if she knew what was good for her! :face-icon-small-sho Funny sheot! Thanks for sharing!

For me, I really like the extension, minus this small problem. It comes off in a minute and then makes the deck fit the bed of the truck perfectly with no overhangs. This wouldn't even be an issue if I had a little longer ramp. The truck is a bit lifted and The ramp is 10' so if I had another 12" I don't think it would transition so dramatically.

2006-2010 silver dodge ram and all black M-series. Anybody know someone with that combo? Lol
