Does anyone know if you can shim the s/c pulley out away from the unit? My problem is my bottom pulley is out as far as it can go, and my belt still has about an 1/8" that runs off the top pulley. Thinking this could be my belt breaking issue.

Sorry for being dumb, but the pulley on the charger can or cant be moved?
my belt looks like about 5 or 6 cogs are stripped off and they just pull apart.

Can the s/c belt be too tight.
Welcome to the MPI world of " Sell em first, let em work out the bugs on their own time ".
And yet another productive post by Slick!!
Give Skyler @ MPI a call...they have hired more people in the last year and are taking great strides to take care of problems.
Don't suggest you know my situation, or my experiences. You've got your opinion, thats great, mines different and it came from lost days riding, screwing up buddies days, and pissing around with R&D on something I purchased that came with so many components missing and so not ready to ride, and the help from MPI, minimal at best. Am I bitter, you bet, wasted money, wasted days, wasted time. Sure it worked great, once in a while, big deal. Good for Skyler and whoever trying to make changes, but it bothers me to hear other guys say SC or turbo, guys are piping up SC, no problems, BS. If all you wanna hear is rah rah crap, read somebody elses post cause it sure as hell is far from my experiences.
Hows that, more productive or enlightening. And I'm fully okay knowing our opinions differ.
Will tomorrow be different, maybe, but its sometimes quite important to know about yesterday before you make plans for tomorrow.
And if I was the only one who experienced these issues, I wouldn't have made the post.

I fully understand your issues from the past...if you've paid attention (which I doubt), you might have even noticed I've been very critical of MPI in the past for exactly those reasons...BUT, they are making a serious effort to atone for their past. I've had 1500 miles of trouble free S/C Nytro fun, and I'm willing to be open minded to a new effort by MPI.
Just because you've had issues in the past, doesn't mean that others are not having trouble free results now.
Bad Reputations are diffucult to overcome and take time and effort...my point is that MPI is making an effort, and in the end it will result in more good choices for us, the sledders who want trouble free mods.
If you're so bitter and closed minded to not see the effort, then it's just one less option for you in the future.
happy sledding!!
Good response, but I know as many bad as good, and some that are just to stubborn to admit defeat, so I think thats the type of info guys need to hear, then decide. And I really don't care much about MPI as they showed me and others already how much they cared about us. Hell of a long way to go before you can realistically use trouble free mods and MPI supercharger in the same sentence. Good luck to em.
And I've chosen to ignore your snotty little comment re my recollection abilities regarding your past posts, your past posts and others are exactly why I chose to post my opinion.
And happy sledding is what I'm now doing. Thanks.
