I to am starting to have problems with mine. I broke the throttle rod in rear suspension yesterday, sending it thru the track and breaking a bunch of stuff. Thats an easy enough fix.. just money. Am also starting to lose compression.. it has 2600 miles. MY skis are shot, wore through. any suggestions on what ski i should run.. just wanted to vent.

well 2600 miles i would expect the compression to start creeping down - shes time for a top end my friend
$350 CDN and ur back up and running
stock skis were junk from the get go IMO - lots of options though SLY dogs, simmons, C & A, MODS - pick the ones u like

all sleds break down and are money pits - its not just yours dude!! haha

Well, 4000 miles on my pilots, other than a few scrapes on the sides there in great shape, love em. With that kinda mileage the top end is due for maintance. yuppers there all a money hole. Dino

Suspension bolts gotta be checked every couple rides or they start to oval out the bolt holes. then the bushing pounds out, then the bolt breaks.

very often overlooked.

2600 miles and your ski's are worn though. Im sorry but that's 100 percent your fault. I have ski's on sleds that had 13,000 miles on them and they didnt wear through, changed lots of sets of carbides though. The only way its not if you bought the sled from someone else. Still why not try putting some new carbides on the your ski's before they get that bad? Its funny that some people do ZERO maintenance and then somehow wonder why things break.
