Four of us went up today to Section 3. You would have never known that it was the end of May. Most of the day it was snowing like a banshee. It was even snowing at the trucks when we left (4000'). The other part of the day was beautiful sunshine. The conditions were far better than most of January and February. Still almost 12' of snow at the stake with 4-6" of fresh new snow on top. What a day....

Holy Crap I am so tired I can't even tell you... totally wiped from yesterday!

One of the best spring rides we have had so far, didn't even get home till well after 9 last night:eek::D

Like he said, it was freaking DUMPING snow up there, stop for even a few minutes and you were gonna get covered, lol:D

I can't wait to see if any of the little watercross video from the trip back down turned out good:D:D

Some of the pics I took yesterday...

Heading up, from about 2 miles up the trail.

Had to throw on the brakes at the top of the hillclimb to avoid the trees.

Hey, That don't really count as a stuck. I was trying to back up out of a dead end in the trees, LOL

Great pics, Seth.

Here's a couple more:

and a short vid of playing in the pond:

haha, no, not really... but it was close... you did need help getting it turned out of there though;)

LMAO! The little pond was such a kick in the pants... I don't think I have ever laughed so hard out sledding as I was after crossing that thing a few times... Who knew a 900 tank could actually 'float':D I was tempted to keep playing, but figured I better quit while I was ahead... I think Casey felt the same HAHA!

I prolly would have kept crossing in the water, but my 6 year old Klim bibs weren't cutting it. Them PRO's don't give much protection in water crossings. Pretty much a direct hit of water on the legs. I was soaked to the bone.

Wow, I can't believe there's still that much snow up there! We should of kept the sleds out longer but noooo we're haulin the boat up this weekend! What a crazy year! Jealous........... :P

Isn't it crazy how many people stopped riding months ago. This season is the longest that I can remember. I've been riding Washington for twenty eight years.
I'm going to try and ride all summer in hopes to say I rode all year.

Work schedules forced us to put away early, but wow we thought it was over and it had just begun!
