I did the Evo BC 275 kit over the off season and was wondering what people are finding works the best for the secondary. I have MDS weights with Polaris black spring for primary. Thanks!

I used a 38/44 on my BC last year with MDS weights and it worked well. I think you could get a little more aggressive on the angle on the BC.

Why do mountain climbers run reverse angles. Why shift slow and then get more aggressive as you go. Seems odd to me but it must work for you.

Turbos love load.....when they are spooled. Stock turbo on the 1100 doesn't build boost till close to 6000 rpm. With the stock helix it's working the steepest part of the helix with no boost, not so great if you are trying to tree ride in the midrange and down part of your rpm. Running a shallower starting angle also helped people that complained of lag, made it more driveable at slower speeds. But when the turbo spools and gets the increased load from the helix angle changing it pulls like a freight train all the way to the end. Lots of people I talked to liked the midrange pull and then felt it stopped pulling as hard at wot.....stock helix is shallower past the midrange.

We spend a fair bit of time with helixes, including the Shockwave (which I loved on my MCX Apex) which gave us infinite straight helix angles and could not get something we were all around happy with. But it makes sense as steeper made it pull harder top end but boggy at slow speed...and visa versa. It only made sense to us to have the best of both worlds and we really like it for the terrian we ride.

We have customers that ride everywhere at all different elevations. The helix doesn't change, just the weights to maximize your rpms at diffent riding elevations.

I'm running mds primary and 36/42 with stock spring at 2000' - 4500'. Night and day differen from delton weights and stock helix. It feels like I added 30hp.
