I have been searching and I cannot find a video on how to tear apart the secondary on my Pro, very different from my old Doo!! Thanks for the help:becky:

Very simple. Just need a press for the spring and snap ring pliers. The helix just needs a torx and tap it on a piece of wood to break it loose.

four torx on the back of the helix should be 27's remove those, with them removed you can grab the helix and twist it a little bit either way, then carefully pry up on it, should come up about 1/4" and then it will twist freely and remove. then you will need a clutch compressor tool to push down on the spring and hold it to remove the snap ring, with the snap ring removed the cup and spring will come out and you are apart.

I have used a peice of 3" tubing with a window cut in the side of it, a floor jack and the square hitch on a truck to tear one apart before if you dont have a spring compressor..the hole on the tube allows you to reach in and pop the snap ring..then pull the helix bolts and turn it over and thump it on a 2x4 to dislodge the helix...

Thanks for the help guys:becky: I have all my Doo tools, just had to make a new part to compress the spring and get a snapring pliers in their. All I have to say is its Way easier then my old Doo clutches!!

One other thing I forgot to ask, when I had the spring and the cup out I moved the 2 sheeves around to see how they move. Was this ok and all that matters is that the X matches up with the rollers and the X on the sheeve, I marked with marker where the helix and the sheeve lined up also and they went back together the same way also. It seemed everything worked good, just wanted to see how everything works once I pulled it apart:face-icon-small-con
