Secondary Clutch Woes

I went to pull off my belt during my engine pull. When I screwed in the tool to open the secondary it stripped out. Just as it was taking strain to screw it everything let go and the tool and threads came out. My question is can you put a Heli-Coil in there and if I do do I have to send out the clutch for balance??

My threads stripped out on mine also so just used tap n die a bit bigger (sorry cannot remember size) and has been good since. Heated the bolt a bit to bend to the shape of original so wouldn't have to use a tool every time.

I just drilled and tapped a new hole a little ways around from the one that stripped.

I did the same as sled guy, I think you're close enough to the center of rotation that balance isn't an issue. If you grind 1/16" to 1/8" off the pushing end of the tool you'll have more threads making contact prior to pushing making thread stripping or pulling less likely.
