Was wondering if anyone has made there own tool for the secondary(driven) clutch?

I went to thehardware and bought a gate hinge.It has a right angle on one end to use a s a handle or put in a vise.I think it is 7/8.It is about 10 inches long,threaded like ready rod(you can use ready rod but I like the habdle aspect of the gate hinge)I drilled a hole in a piece of 2" flat bar,then bent it in a U to come down on the top of the clutch so as you compress it(with a nut and washer on each side,you can remove the 2 keepers and allow dissasembly.Cost about 10.00 dollars(Canadian,that's 35 cents US)
