Has anyone changed the seat on an edge model to a newer style. My seat on my 04 XC 700 is ready for a change and I like the look of the newer ones on the 2008 and up Polaris machines. Would I need to change gas tank also. Thanks for any help.

My son put a pro seat on an 01 rmk, used original gas tank. Took a little engineering but turned out nice. Will try and put a pic up later.

how does it ride/ handle now? I've been wanting to something like that for a while now, been looking for seats at swaps etc. what is that off of?
I'm an upholsterer and think I could make something like that fit like a glove and sew an underseat bag to cover the tank and tunnel etc
