Just putting it out there.Anyone want to do a forum ride in Revy the weekend after next (May long weekend) May 22-24.
I know there isn't much time to plan but its a sledding trip, how much time do we need?
Anyone interested post or PM me and lets make this happen.
I have not been out at all in 2010,due to a couple of early season wipe outs.I have my sled almost ready to go,so I am going for sure.
I feel the need to ride, there is still lots of snow!!
It could be three days and three different areas.
Anyone have any ideas?

Cheers,
Dave

well i'd love to go but am working that weekend, looks like i'm going to miss out. i'm free the following weekend:)

I'm hoping my parts come in tomorrow, then I'll be heading to Revy this weekend also.

hey if you go this weekend let us know how the snow is on boulder if u go up there... my buddy is thinkin of coming wit me on the 20th weekend wit a firecat... jus wondering how set up it is. havent been out since easter.... but i think he should be fine!

Well,I am going to get up at 3 am. and go to Revy sledding for the weekend.
I am going to hook up with EEEK FACTOR and Jeff and go for a ride into Turtle tomorrow weather permiting.
Just finished tonight, putting the sled back together from the last carnage.I had to get a new pipe for this trip, last one cracked,so am changing from Speedwerxs to D&D.I am hoping for no issues.
Heres a couple of pics putting her back together and the last one of loaded in the pick up for the early morning ride.

Still Lots of snow

I and everyone I rode with on the 15-16th had a great time. There is still lots of snow and fun to be had.
If you want to pull chutes or boondock in the trees the conditions are excellent.
It was a good time with no carnage or break downs and the weather was unbelievable. We saw and helped a guy over the top on the Tom Collins chute, who was riding with out a shirt,it was at least 65 degrees.
Don`t forget the suntan lotion.
If anyone is interested in riding, let me know,I just got to get out one more time.

Cheers,
Dave

How far up did ya unload?

We unloaded at around kilometer 8 last weekend,I have drove up much farther in the past to sled, but there are not many places to turn a trailer around,at least with ease.
I plan on leaving my trailer at the motel and carry my sled up in my pick up.

I can hardly wait for this day to be over so I can load my sled, then off to Revy at 3:30 am.
Anyone wanting to hook up,I will be going to Dennys for breakfast if you want to hook up.
I"ll be easy to find, silver GMC and silver enclosed trailer. On the truck on the rear side windows are decals saying "Addicted 2 4M Big Iron Shootout".
After fueling up I will be unhooking trailer and loading my sled onto my truck for the day of riding.
Its going to be a great season ending ride I can hardly wait...!!!:face-icon-small-hap

As it is now im planning on going to ride Monday and ariving at the Mtn at 10am.

Just wish the pipe and all the other parts would have arrived so they could have been on. :(

Well what a depressing day and at the same time its been a gooder.
Last night while going over my sled,I thought I would pull off the pipe and check out my steering post,as it seemed like it was coming loose on the lower mounting point. After looking at it,it did not take long for me to figure out that it was the back of my bulkhead that the steering post mounts too that was totally cracked.
.No riding Revy for me this weekend.
So this morning I got on Snowest and within fifteeen minutes I had not only found a bulk head, but had found one with a fabcraft 174" tunnel powdercoated orange.
A big Thank You to Whittaker727 for helping me out.
Only sad part is last weekend was my last ride for this season.
I will have some fun taking my sled apart and redoing for next season.
Now all we have to do is figure out what turbo to go with,so many choices!!!

i guess that's both good and bad news all wrapped up into one, make sure you start a build thread

There's an outside chance that Motleyone might be able to take the chassis up next week if you finds that there is enough snow to go up and ride, so I'll let you know. Any idea what the snow pack is doing with this weather? Any recent reports?

I have some friends riding this weekend there. When I hear from them about the conditions I will post.
The weather forecast is calling for rain over night with a low of 8c.From what I have been told,it has to be 4c. for snow up top.
Tomorrow 17c.:face-icon-small-sad
I hope to have better news tonight.
As far as sledding for me,my season is now over.
