Sea level turbo options?

Any updates for what are options for a sea level turbo?
Silber, from what I read is the only one able to out of the box right?
Sidekick needs a lot more goodies to run at lower elevation right? (Tial exhaust, lower comp, etc)
How about MTNTK's kit?

I live in western WI and I do a few hundred miles around here when not out west.

I'd like to do a Sidekick (for some weird reasons I'll tell you about later) but not if it's substantially more moola than the others.

Thanks for the input.

Pump

Also, I'd like to stay with pump gas.

I did research this a little bit I see now that BD has an updated kit for '17. I have an email into them as well.

I tried to go Sidekick for out west and for here in MN and U.P. riding.

I was going to have Vohk build it. I got several quotes from them and as I dug into deeper, the price kept climbing. I spoke with Erik Woog about it for about an hour and he was confident he could make it run great at both altitudes, but the price was around $9000 to do it by the time he added all the stuff to the Sidekick to make it run. I don't remember all the specifics, but TiAl exhaust, and some sort of switch, and some other things to make it work. I also spoke to Rocky Jr. at Boondocker about it and got a different answer than from Vohk as far as what he thought it would need to run. This made me a more apprehensive.
I have no doubt Vohk could make it run well, but I wasn't ready to spend that kind of coin without trying the Silber first for thousands of dollars less.
Silber is based out of MN. They do ride and tune here, so I know it will run. I'm guessing BD isn't going to come to MN or WI to rip trails and ditch bang to tune their set up for low elevation.

I will not ride much at low elevation and didn't build the sled for that, but if the U.P. gets hammered with snow, I want my sled to be able to run there.

Our Silber kits are turn key on pump gas at low elevation because we include the external wastegate standard. Send me PM and I will give you my number and we can discuss further and go over pricing.

Both Silber and MTNTK would be a good choice. Boondocker is also a very good kit, but I feel you get less, for more, compared to the others.

Ditto, I pretty much just want to give my kids a ride around and maybe bop down to the bar every once in a while.

Silber sounds like the kit for you. Very competitive price, easy to adjust boost & easy install. My only reservation would be how loud they are especially with the U.P cracking down on loud sleds. Word is a quite muffler kit is now available.

Side note a friend mine bought a used 16 SKS with a BD Sidekick installed with optional Tial wastegate. Previous owner ran it in U.P with no other modifications on pump gas.

The loud pipe in the U.P. is a concern. Some guys last year said the got tickets on their RUSH's with stock exhaust. It didn't pass the DB test.

Oh well, tickets are flat and they stack nice.

Boston,
What kind of HP-number increase over stock would you expect from the turbo kit, running only pump gas and stock compression-ratio running near Sea Level??
(stock, naturally aspirated = approx 150HP/sea-level)
