SCS Wrap Installed

Big thanks to SCS Wraps and jtt35 (Tyler) from SCS... Great company to do buisness with and a great product.. Next step is seeing how it holds up in some snow..

Sorry for hitting the thumbs down. Accidentally hit it trying to zoom in on my phone. :face-icon-small-blu

Wrap looks great!!!!!

I like the fact that it's not one big advertizement for the wrap maker! Couple little TASTEFUL logos... nicely done.

I was looking at a lime 9 wrap this weekend & it's the most horrific think I've seen. Why someone would pay to have a wrap maker's logo on the side of their sled is just SO beyond me.

I don't understand the idea of guys putting a bunch of company names on their sleds... and PAYING to do it. I guess they want to look special & feel like they're schponsured.

How does limenine compare to other sled wraps price wise? I haven't looked to hard into them but was considering one for my 2014 M8. I'm guessing they are probably on the higher end compared to everyone else?

I have no idea. If I were to consider putting a wrap on either of my sleds, they'd be the last choice simply because I have yet to see a single wrap that doesn't have their horrid logo on it bigger than life. For me their wraps are an advertizement against themselves.

Check out braap wraps. The best artwork/ designs I've seen have been from those guys... some amazing stuff, and you're not paying to advertize for them, you're paying for a cool look

Here's one sled I know of around here, this one has his shop logo on it, but I've seen the pattern without that as well... no logos, no brand names, just solid artwork.

No obnoxios logo for the wrap maker!

just had to look... this horrid POS has their logo in 11 places, and costs $85 more than the one from braap wraps...

yea no doubt backcountry... im good with riding a little company logo, especially when you get hooked up... kinda like giving back... but as for logos that cover half the wrap.. forget about it, unless your paying me in some way... i use to ride for motoskinz.com (good wraps, good people) but i parted ways do to not getting the right deal... the way they work is great for sponsored riders, no logos at all.. they give you stacks of cards with your name and a discount price for the buyers.. when people like your wrap, you give em a card.. simple... but again, SCS hit it on the head with this one...

That's an interesting business model... good way to track who's sending people your way for sure though.

Before you post that all LimeNine wraps have his logo all over the place. Talk to the guys that have them!!!!! If you dont want the logo just ask him to remove it!! He makes one off wraps all the time. Not cookie cutter like the rest!!Lots of Guys are running his stuff because his product is some of the best quailty you will ever see.

I've seen 4 or 5 of them, in person & a bunch on line... I've just never seen one that didn't have their logo as the biggest thing on the sled aside from a few that were done for pros.

If they make them without it, that's cool, I've just never seen one.

I was just impressed by braap wraaps because it seem like their stuff focuses on the artwork instead of the logos, which I think is cool. I couldn't pay that kind of $$ to advertize for someone. If the wrap was free as long as the logo was on it, I could see that as something that would make sense to me though.

I just don't understand why people care? If you don't like it fine! But to call it a POS???? Do you debage every vehicle you own? Sled you ride? Jeans and shoes you wear? Everything now is about branding. Its what the younger generation wants! And it sells. We might not understand it but who cares. I bet Nike and Coke never said we would sell more if people think we are somebody else.

does braap-wraps even make a proclimb wrap? They don't show it on the website.

Advertizing works... I get it... been in the "schponshured" game a long time, and I've dealt with branding & name recognition for many years in many sports.

What I don't get is why someone would pay $400+ to put someone's logo on their sled? Perhaps having the background I do I see that as something that should work the other way around, so it just seems odd TO ME that someone would do that. I also wouldn't buy a Nike T-shirt or similar either though. I suppose I take off the stickers from some of my sleds if I don't like them, but it's not something I really care about.

I've got a good buddy I ride with, that paid to be a lime nine rolling billboard... it looks silly, but I don't really "care"... it just doesn't make sense TO ME.

sled bc... yeah, I noticed after I posted that pic of that sled and went to their site that they don't seem to have a pattern for the PC... Sorry, not very helpful there:face-icon-small-dis derp.

Either way... the SCS wrap is pretty darn nice, which was the point of the thread. The pattern the OP likes, without being a rolling billboard for something he's PAYING for. I just think that's pretty cool, as it seems harder and harder to come by lately.
