Scotty creek on Blewitt?

Can anyone tell me anything about riding out of Scotty creek just on the other side of blewitt? I had some locals out of Wenachee tell me about it and was thinkin about checkin it out this weekend.

I think that's the old Blewett Highway......Kinda garnly sorta paved road in the off season open to regular traffic....The south end is on Hwy 97 about 3 or 4miles south of the top of the pass...

Just make sure you know where the Wilderness boundaries are. Don't assume that if you're following tracks, that your legal. The boys that ride that side love to poach wilderness.

Sorry to hear that. Having folks who intentionally poach the wilderness makes it hard for the rest of us to defend our right to ride legally.

On a separate note (not meaning to steal the thread btw), how you liking your '10 Cat? Has it lived up to the hype?

Loving the Cat. It has what my old '07 M8 was missing, better transfer, more power (more top end), less weight. I'm very happy with it.

To answer the original question of this thread: you work your way back through a maze of logging roads and eventually you can access some alpine. It's a relatively small area, unless you ride the wilderness; a much smaller alpine area than what you access from the North Fork of the Teanaway, and less snow than the west side of the Teanaway Range.

Thanks for the replys guys. I was kinda leary of the wilderness being right there. The guys were saying they always got fresh snow every time they go in there just a little beyond where the masses ride. With the snow the way it has been is it worth checkin out? Or better off to stick to blewett or maybe cle elum area.
