Scott Goggles Customer Service

So I decided to go the MX helmet route this year. Got a new helmet (Gmax 37S)and a set of Scott googles with the quick strap.

Get home and install the quick straps on the helmet. The velcro piece that stays on the helmet appears to be sticking ok - first ride out, it comes off - so I ended up having to swap out to the faceshield. Ended up trying to use some epoxy to get the velcro to stay - no go. Now keep in mind, this is a Flat black helmet - so I honestly think that's the issue - if the helmet was shiny, I think the adhesive would stick just fine. So in any case after all this dorking around I said screw it and decided to go to a strap - I KNOW those won't fail.

So, looked around for someplace to buy the straps - can't find anyplace selling the straps, so I call Scott directly. Got a hold of the snowmobile goggles department and explained what happened and what I wanted to do - and that I needed to know where I could buy just the strap. The guy at Scott said "I probably have a strap lying around here, let me get your address and I'll send it out"

2 Days later, and I get a new strap in the mail. No questions asked. That's GREAT customer service in my book. Now some of you might say "The quick straps should have stuck better" but I feel it's more of a problem with the finish on the helmet than the design of the straps and adhesive.

So two thumbs up for Scott's customer service.

Awsome, sounds like the kind of company I would like to deal with. Thank's for posting, its nice to hear about a company that will go out of their way to help a customer.

Scott is great to deal with.

I ordered a pair of X89i LS goggles and when I got them they had a scuff on one side of the lens. couldn't see it looking through them but it bugged the hell out of me.

They sent me out a new set of lenses no questions asked, and let me keep the first lens that was messed up.

ditto

I had an issue ordering a nose piece for my scott goggles, received the the wrong type of piece for my goggles (my fault ordered the wrong thing) anyway called them up wanting to do an exchange. They understood and simply sent me the correct nose piece and didn't even want me to send the other one back. GREAT COMPANY great service!!!!

They are first class are far as I am concerned. Had a problem with goggles fogging, they sent me 6 pr different lenses to try prepaid to my door! Best in Customer Service EVER!

When I ordered a pair of goggles they were out of the pair I ordered, so they upgraded for free. Great company, I will stick with them!

When I put a quick straps on I always blast the velcro pieces with a heat gun for a minute and warm up the glue real good. Met the owners of Scott googles at a heliski lodge once... Amazing people!! Left a huge tip and everyone got 4 pairs of free googles and ski poles! Amazing people! Tonnes of fun too!

Scott is a great company. They support riders and racers in our sport. And yes, they do have great customer service!:)

I have been working with Scott and there products, I tell you they are a top notch company to deal with. I have ran the goggles off and on for 10 or so years, and they are by far the best I have wore plus with the nose piece what a great combo. I have the Bow coat, and 3 rides on it so far it is just flat awesome, today I got to open all the vents. The Wonder pants are great, we have had some wet conditions and I stay warm and dry!!! I have not got to use the thigh vents yet on them.... ;)
