MSRP $1179, and I got it for $699 shipped. I love Steep and Cheap. I get some seriously smoking deals from them. They had six S/M and six M/L. Anybody else score one?

What is this Steep and Cheap you speak of? I tried on a North Face vest at the Denver snow show and loved it but at 1100 bucks it's twice the price of the Avi Vest. I'd love to go with the North Face vest if I could find a smokin deal like you did. Nice work!

Its a countdown timer clearance website for backcountry.com. A new item pops up every few minutes.

Some awesome deals on that site. Of course it's also addictive and will cost you a crap load of money for a bunch of stuff you suddenly 'need'.

YEAH NO KIDDING!!!! You can "SAVE" a lot on that website.

I can't afford to be saving this much money.

And the secrets out! Haha been following that site for years.. Also whiskeymilita is a good one too not much winter items on there but great deals to be had!

Yup. And chainlove too if you're into biking. I love the "each additional item is only $.99 to ship" deal.

Actually, the best one is gearscan.com.

They watch ALL of those affiliated sites on one page.

Well, I got the dreaded call from S&C today. Apparently TNF found out about this deal and really slapped them on the wrist. They won't sell it to me.

HOWEVER.... they're still hooking me up. They are letting me choose between the ABS Vario 25 and the ABS Powderline 15. So I'm taking the Vario 25. :face-icon-small-hap

Its not the ideal pack for snowmobiling. ABS even makes a SB series that would work better. But I think this one will have the best resale should I decide to sell it and get something else.

I read it...but it sucks that NF came in and squaked.

What's cool is you got a deal.

So is the replacemant backpack is good or better than what you wanted?
