Anyone ever heard of Schaeffer Oil products?

They make/market engine oil, grease, fuel additives, gear oil, transmission fluids, hydraulic fluids, etc for the trucking industry, agriculture, mining, food processing, etc.

Yeah, I have used it. Used to go 5000 on a oil change and would do the free oil sample and would come back clean everytime.

i have some uncles that use shaeffers. its the only thing they use and they swear by it. seems to work real well but way over priced imo

I ran it in my '01 Dodge Cummins for the last 50k miles that I had it (90k-140k). Changed the oil every 10k, but never had it tested. Pickup never burned oil, and it never had any other problems (head gasket not included...that was my fault).

The company I worked for, and that my Dad still works for, uses it in ALL their fleet vehicles, from Chevy 1500's to their 250+ HP John Deere/Ford tractors. Many of their Chevy pickups have 250k+ miles on them and run great. My Dad has an '08 with 80k+ on it and it's going great. I'd run it in any of my vehicles without question.

We have used their snowmobile oil since 2000. No powervalve problems, no burndowns or squeaks. Under $20 a gallon.

Been using it in our sleds for 5+ years now. Piped, ported, nitrous..... absolutely awesome. Good w/ powervalves also. Wouldn't use anything else, and yes $20 a gallon. A.
