I had sent a payment to isattv about a month ago now for a diamond s hood, still no hood. Very minimal contact with me. I believe Jason is scamming me. He has come up with a couple excuses: Got lost in shipping, and his friend couldn't bring it up one weekend, now he said he was going to have it shipped again. Told me he refunded my money and that never appeared on my card and still hasn't. I have not heard anything from him since. He can not provide me with any proof of shipping, nor return a phone call like a real business man.

Stay away from any dealings with this guy.

I hate when this sort of thing happens. If you payed with paypal, file a dispute. If you paid with just a credit card, dispute the charges with the credit card company. I hope this gets resolved.

Paypal is a joke. I bought a bad Dodge hub bearing on ebay, the outfit I bought it from said they were sorry, they would fix it, send me a shipping label for return and send me out a new one, they accepted all the blame as they should have. The only problem was they never did anything to follow through. After 30 days I contacted paypal and filed a complaint, the parts store I bought from never even answered the complaint, and paypal told me I didn't have any evidence the bearing was bad and ruled in favor of the parts store, I finally called them and explained the situation and I finally won the dispute but was forced to pay $32.00 shipping to return the hub bearing, then wait another month to get my money back. I have no faith in paypal.

If you paid with your credit card, this is an easy fix. Dispute the charge with your credit card company- it's called a "chargeback" and they refund your money and take it back from the seller. It's easy to do, it doesn't affect your credit rating, and you get your money back unless the seller can prove that they shipped. If nothing else, a chargeback is a huge pain in the butt for the seller to deal with- they have to fill out several pages of paperwork to prove they are in the right before they can get their money back. If what you're saying is true, he hasn't got a leg to stand on and you will get your money back and the CC company will take it back from him.

The last scammer callout thread got pulled, don't know why. A guy sold a seat said it was real nice shape, the buyer gets it and some tears sealed up with goop. They call the guy on it, he tries to edit his post to say he posted it with tears fixed with goop and gets caught, changing it. How are we gonna know who the crooks are?? These guys that do this are probably the same ones out there strippin' sleds and the like.

Next time file it directly with ebay, they'll deal with the seller directly and suspend their account, tie up their funds as well.
