But by the time you find & engine, clutches, exhaust etc, pay shipping, pay someone for install & tinker with the dern thing......

That sled in running condition is only going to sell for 2500-3200 (at least here) so not that great of a deal. Might be good for parts. Also to answer your question, no I dont think its a scam, unless its stolen!
