Hello there to all the SnoWesters!
I’d like to take a minute to introduce myself as a new member. My name is T.J. Krob and I am from Bozeman Montana. I have lived with sleds and grown up with powersports my entire life as I began riding at age 2. Typically, on any snow year I ride over 1100 miles and am in constant search of untracked tight trees and new holes to play in. Sleds have always been my passion but dirtbikes and ATV’s fill my need for octane-burning-fun in the summer months.
As a gearhead at heart, a quality engineering education was right up my alley, and I am fortunate enough to have a perfect school right here in my hometown. I attended MSU-Bozeman for mechanical engineering completing my Bachelors in 2008 and Masters in 2011. I was a member of the old forum from ~'04-'07, but school began requiring my undivided attention and I allowed my account to expire. I’ve met some of my closest friends and riding buddies while attending college and meet countless more on the snow each year. The Gallatin National Forest Avalanche Center also employs me as an instructor for their snowmobile field education sessions.
In recent years, my desire for more and more performance has been a fulfilling experience as I’ve put together machines that give me permagrin every ride. Starting with exhausts and intakes, then upgrading to big bore sleds and turbo Mseries, and now finally an Aerocharged Pro RMK, I have kept learning how to make sleds perform and remain reliable each season. Now, I am lucky enough to work as an engineer in a powersports company right here in my own hometown. I started last fall with Dynojet Research as an R&D Engineer and will be on the forums now to help out with any questions regarding our products, riding together on the weekend, or just general chit chat.
A thank you to everyone and try to enjoy the summer months!
