ok so we "adopted" a kitty cat last summer because I couldn't bare to send her to the pound to be killed.

Anyways, she's become our "adopted" kitty cat.

She lives outside, primarily because if she lives inside I can't breathe.

Anyways, it's been like between -10 and -20 here latley, and she looked about dead tonite when I came home.

So I went to Wally World and bought her a pet taxi and stuck her in the utility room tonite where it's warm so hopefully she wouldn't freeze to death and wouldn't get cat dandruff all over everything.

Anyways.

She's meowing like crazy, so I'm not doing this again, because I can't sleep.

So, what I'm wondering is, w hat sort of electrically-heated outdoor cat savior devices have any of you used in the past? I would like to save kitty-cat from ice-cold doom, however, not at the cost of me being able to sleep at night.

Therefore, the fate of an adorable and cute, very personably kitty cat lies in your hands!

Her ice-cold doom comes tomorrow evening do I not have a solution in my hand!

My mom's kitten sleeps with my mom's dog (choc. lab) in her pen, under her heatlamp. Cat in the middle directly under the lamp, dog curled around the outside of said cat.

Other than that, mom also has a heated dog-house pad that stays plugged in in the garage. Kitten also likes sleeping on that.

Get yourself a 15' section of heat tape and make somesort of bed on the ground. Put the heat tape under the bedding material and it will heat from underneath.

Take the cat to the humane shelter saying you don't know where it came from. They will keep it for a week or so before they put it down. Then when the cold spell is over (hopefully less then a week) have your wife go and get your "long lost cat". Its basically a free motel for the cat.

Do you have any kind of out building ?? We have a small shed next to our house that my cat can go into when she is outside. If you do just put a blanket inside. Or maybe get one of those small igloo dog houses and put a blanket in it, it would be better than nothing.
