So looking to move somewhere in the next year or so as im a little sick of the bozeman area. Folks live in NW montana, whitefish to be exact, so i like the weather, landscape of norther idaho as well.

Tell me about the sandpoint area. Looks like just about the right sized town for me, just wanting to know more about it. looks nice from what i see but lets hear it... and of course, how is the sledding and name some spots so i can creep them on google earth.

I love sandpoint, I have family up there and I love the weather year around, whether is winter or summer it's beautiful. The group I ride with goes to trestle creek all the time, it's awesome riding!

Yes, Trestle Creek is a popular spot, but the nice thing is that you're less than a 2 hour drive from a dozen kick azz spots and then you have the Canadian riding in the Selkirks and the Norns as well as Revy 5 hours north or McCall 5 hours south. Property "in" Sandpoint is stupid expensive, but you can get out of town a bit and find a nice affordable place. But, then again, if you're use to Whitefish prices then Sandpoint won't be much of a shock.
