Sand Truck Project Over Sleds?

I just posted my sleds and trailer for sale today. Why would I do such a thing you ask? I've been working on a sand truck project for the last few years and until I can buy the last of the major parts to finish it, it will continue to get in the way of sledding every winter. Hopefully this winter, with the extra funds from the sleds and the extra time from not riding, I'll be able to wrap it up and get back to sledding next year or the year after.

What do you think- right decision to sell???

In case you don't care whether or not I ride this year and you just want to get straight to "sponsoring" the sand truck by purchasing the sleds and trailer I've attached a youtube link of the truck in the sand dunes so you know what your money is going toward:

i guess you have to decide which sport gives you more pleasure. i was a hardcore duner for almost 20 years until i started snowmobiling. in the early 2000's when sleds actually became rideable my wants changed. now i live for the pow, nothing like the rush i get dropping off a new ridge or spending the day in a roadless area boondocking the entire day. still ride my quads during the summer months, but usually up in the woods. all the cops and regulations they have at the dunes now have kind of killed the fun. god bless the goodie two shoes of the world for regulating the crap out of everything to make life safer for me;)

Jewell:

Looks like quite a cool ride there you have!

Question for you:

Looks to me at the supercharger intake there is no filter of any kind. Does the sand not get in the intake at all?

Just wondering......

You are correct sir! We weren't actually planning ot take it off the trailer that day- long story short, we got the truck and trailer stuck and HAD to unload it. Then I figured we could take it for a quick maiden voyage without too much risk of sand throught the supercharger. I will have a filter setup for it on order before the next trip out though!
