salt shield ?

Thinking about installing one on my 4 place floe. I pull with 1/2 ton truck will it pull easier with the shield on it? how about gas mileage. What's been you're experiences with this guys. thanks

doesn't really do much other than keep the sleds clean.

I would agree.... if anything, it would stand to reason you would get less mileage as there is now a large obstruction at the front of the trailer... not sure... I would rather have one for the convenience of keeping the sleds that much cleaner and being able to drive off if you dont have reverse.

i have a 22' floe. had for one year w/o the shield, and then one year w/ the drive off shield.

no diff in mileage. huge improvement to keep sleds clean.
