safety tether

I want to put a safty tether on my sled and was woundering what you recommend? I have a 2009 M8 153 SP

Sorry to change the topic a bit, but just out of curiosity is there a reason why cat does not put a tether on? To me it just seems like a simple safety device that should come from factory.

The rubber boot style AC tethers are junk. I like the C clip style tether better. More of a positive disconnect than the rubber boot style. I had problems more than once of the boot styles killing the sled while I was leaning around without disconnecting.

The only problem with the c-clip style is they are not waterproof. The stock AC one works well and has saved my butt a couple of times.

Try a marine store for one from a boat, waterproof c-clip easy install.
