?'s about 2010 Polaris Assault

got a 2009, basically same sled, short of color scheme. i love how it reacts to rider input, looks and 'feel'.
mind you i am into it for a couple of bucks above purchase price ( for reliability): PCV fuel controller, 'the fix' by mtntk.

if you're willing to look after it a little harder than your average sled, you shouldn't be disappointed.

I disagree completely. Horrible motor design and quality control. GREAT performance, when it runs. I had a piston skirt break after 60 miles...took out the entire motor. Thankfully it wasn't my bill, but there are many others out there that HAVE had to pay that bill. In time, I'm sure I would have had to pay it after the warranty runs out....

In my short 4 month ownership of a '10 Assault 800, the list of warranty claims exceeded my purchase price. Insane. I only got 7 rides on it, and it was at the dealer for an extraordinary long time getting "Polaris Approval" for warranty work. Not impressed with Polaris, their designs, quality control, customer service, technical assistance, etc etc etc.
