Rx1 questions. Looking to buy.

Today up riding i saw some modded rx1's doin some crazy stuff. And u couldnt out highmark em, out climb em, anything and i had a m7 162. What Do these sell for and how much do you spend making them lighter. I do know these ones didnt have a muffler it just dropped out from underneath the seat through the tunnel and it sounded sick. Id like to know everything about these. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

There are loads of stuff available to reduce the weight on them. Check out TY 4stroke. Most of them that go that well are boosted either w/ super charger or a Turbo. They take to modding really well. Lots of guys either do a timbersled front and rear suspension to make em lighter, seats, steering pieces and list goes on. Lots of folks are doing it to the FX Nytro also.

Either one of them handle the mods really well. Search around here, and the above sight and will see a lot. Register at TY, and you can access more, sorry that Totally Yamaha.

Here is the link.

All the regulars on there are cool and are more than willing help with tips, also many of the items you would be looking for to do it hang out there.

Not to mention, many are advertisers there.

Good luck, come on over to the Dark Side you will not look back.

Go to TY and search some of Kachess posts. He's built about a dozen of these in Washington. Ken....

There's one for sale on our website that has had alot of stuff done to it, FYI............Sherm

Find one that has either a holz or an arctic cat with a 159 to 162. If u were at gold creek. That was kachess you saw. They picked one up at the snow show for about 3 grand. If the suspensions done, just do a rider forward make an under tunnel exhaust and a boss seat. You can get them down to 515 lbs with no fuel. And you don't notice the weight unless yhour stuck...but they're all heavy then. You don't need boost. They're great without it
