J Joa Free Member Jan 26, 2009 #2 I went three inches with a wildchild rider forward kit and so far so good but to be fair I haven't gotten it all put together yet. I did quite a bit of measuring beforehand though and 3" should be fine, especially if you go forward since that's the direction the cables/wires go.

S smokenjay Free Member Feb 2, 2009 #3 A 3 inch works. There is a spot on the riser you will need to notch to get it to fit right. Just helped a buddy put one on the other day.

P powdermuncher Free Member Feb 3, 2009 #4 You can sneak a 5" riser in there if you tilt the bars far enough forward. You will have to re rout the brake-line in behind the coolant tank and my e brake is of so not sure about that but the rest is no problem if you try hard enough.
