RX-1 Turbo HELP!!!!!

So i bought a turbo rx-1 the other day took it for a ride started fine. took it out last night had some trouble starting it and today have the same problem. when i turn the key to the on possition all the guages light up and everything seems fine but when i try to turn the engine over nothing happens. I checked the teather, the kill switch is up but nothing is working. any ideas??????

Check the battery voltage....sounds like a dead battery to me. If the voltage is fine, try jumping the starter relay to see if the starter turns.

If the battery is good, check the solenoid, to test, cross the two terminals on the solenoid, if it starts, then you know the starter is good, now you know that the issue is with the solenoid or the plug that attaches to the solenoid,the plug is a source of grief, it gets corroded and stop the starter from working.

I have a question for ya guys. You stated that you turn your key on and the gauges work fine. I turn my key to the first position and nothing happens to the gauges, headlight or anything. They ONLY work after the sled starts(2003 RX-1 Mountain). Is this normal or am I just too tired to comprehend anything?LOL

Can't speak for the RX-1 for sure, but my Nytro runs through the fuel pump cycle and the gauges come to life when the stop button is in the RUN position and the key is turned on. Hit the stop button or turn the key off and they go out.

my vector is the same way, turn the key on and u can hear the fuel pump and the boost light comes on, but no stock gauges till the engine is running.
