Running High Ocatne Fuel in High Elevation

Okay guys here is one I want you to talk over and let me know! I got an 08 Ski-doo 600cc Rotax with remapped ECM, High compression race domes, twin pipes, ported and polished by Trygstad Motorsports. Going out west and some tell me I gotta run the 110 ocatne and other say the high elevation will compansate and Ill just need to run 92octane. I want the power and not have to worry about bad detination. Talk it over..post up your thoughts!! Thanks.

Race gas is cheap insurance, Some 600 mods run over 200 lbs of compression And these guys are running c16 are better. If your running 110
are better in minnesota, You could go down a little at say 8000 ft. But I wouldnt, stick with the race fuel.

I run 14:8:1 compression in a 800 doo and was told by RK-Tek that I only need to run 91 octane fuel as long as I am over 5000 feet. I have ran it for two seasons and all is well.

Running here in MN I gotta use 110, but when we go west were looking at elevations of 10-12k. I think my best bet is to call Trygstad and talk it over with him...just wanted other riders thoughts!! Thanks
