Running boards, snow buildup on Nytro

Hey guys, just had the sled in the shop here to put on a skid plate and replace the revers lever for the 3ed time. and noticed that my running boards are bent to **** and the sled has around 400km on it.. iam not that hard on it either and iam only 180lbs.

is anyone els having noticed this, and if so what are they doing for a fix?

also anyone have any good suggestions on when you are riding in 3ft of pow all the time on what to use to stop all that snow from building up around the oiltank and in the nose of the sled, its really bad on mine anways.

iam not all that happy this year wiht the fitup of all the plastic on this sled compaired to my apex.

but still LOVE THE sled

Thoes look good but i dono man, iam trying to make them stronger. and thos dont look liek they woudl be stronger

i run the snow elimnators on my sled they work awsome , same idea as the f bombs . where are youre running boards bending ? i notieced mine are starting to crease around the rear drop brackets ?

The stock boards are weak and the better boards aren't any stronger. If you can deal with the snow buildup, the stock tunnel will last longer without the BB. The only real solution is a stronger tunnel.

could the tunnel bending be due bottoming out the suspension all the time?when you bottom the force has to go somewhere,i ran snowelims on my rev,and they just came in for the nytro so ill be putting on tommorrow,on the rev they were plenty strong..but im not a jumper

I thought you people bough yamahas for strength to me bending sub frames and bending running boards isnt a good sign this early in the season

I noticed a crease around the drop brackets also. I thought/think it is from the wider track. Drop brackets are not stock.

i put them on mine and they are bad A$$ no snow build up and great traction
