Ruffy's new ride

Frick yah! If I made more money and had more time... or maybe just didn't snowmobile, that is what I would be doing... Got to love max torque at 0 rpm...... add some high voltage ultra capacitors and watch out...

The pull of those cars has to just be crazy.... like a snowmobile, but with traction!

Cool vid, thanks for posting... so when do I get your donation to build that thing?

the day is coming ruffy, it is coming.

who knows if detroit tanks and rehauls we may be even closer.

You read that book yet?

If they stipulated that the money would got to electric utilities as well for electric vehicles, we would see the big three dominate the world market in electric vehicles in no time...

pollution

i especially liked the comment at the end how the car ran all that time without one ounce of pollution when there was a whole two shelves of obslete lead batteries in his garage, soon to be a whole nuther two shelves of lithium ions when the next improvement comes along in a month.

He was technically correct. The power in the batteries, was created the day before, and so was the pollution. And, the lead acid batteries were created months ago, and so was the pollution. Who knows how long ago the pollution from the lead mine was created. So, you can drive an electric car, knowing that at that moment your driving guilt free. :)

The monies going to "make sure" the union way of doing things endures.

 Not sure what you meant by this as a reaction to my statement... I was just trying to point out that the electric vehicle problem has two areas of technological challenges. The utility side, and the vehicle side...

I'm just saying that the money is being given to the car companies, so they don't have to lay off half their employees, and cut the salaries of those left, by half. Preserving the union way. Otherwise, the big three might "have to" go none union to survive. Nothing at you.

X2 and how is the power generated to charge that car? Coal maybe? Then let's have 50 million that need to be charged and on and on.
