I have a 2007 M8 and the cup seal that slips over the drive shaft that protects the main seal in the diamond drive output shaft is wearing a groove in the back of the diamond drive housing, probably about .030" deep. Has anyone come up with a solution to keep this from happening? My best idea so far is to lube that seal with anti seize periodicly to keep the friction down between the seal and the housing itself, any thoughts?
