Rubber coated billet wheels

I have a set of rubber coated billet wheels. One wheel lost the rubber coating. I can't remember who made the wheels. I thought they were Mountain Performance, but these wheels aren't listed on the website anymore. They are a flame pattern.

Is there anyone that can re-apply the coating?

Maybe is should clarify my statement of coating. It's not a coating of the entire wheel. It is the rubber that runs on the track on the outside circumference of the wheel.

The company that made those is now out of business. PEM from Minnesota. When they went out of business, we bought a few of their wheels - what size do you have? I might have one.

The process is called vulcanizing. I had the exact same wheels on my last sled and when the rubber came off, I used a Loctite product and glued it back on. You should be able to bring it to any rubber shop and have it vulcanized again.

I wish I had the pieces. The 100 MPH run accross the lake took care of them. Looks like they came off in pieces. I wonder if I could run them the way they are? It might be a bad place for snow to build up in the grooves though. Oh well, I could start the day with 8" wheels and end with 9" wheels.LOL

I checked what we have and we don't have one to match what you've got. Sorry! :(
